Stateline Women's group plans 'History, Hopeful Heart' luncheon

MONROE - Stateline Women's Connection and Stonecroft Ministries is having a luncheon, "History and Hopeful Heart" at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17, at Peppercorn Banquets at Ludlow Mansion, 1417 Mansion Drive, Monroe.

The cost is $8, which includes tax, tip and the program.

Matt Figi will talk about Historic Green County. Lori Boruff of Aledo, Ill., will talk about "Hope in the Ruins." Boruff is a writer and newspaper correspondent, founder of Ministry of Hope for Women, owner of an on-line discount store, an event planner and retail merchandiser for a greeting card company.
