MONROE - Stateline Women's Connection and Stonecroft Ministries is having a luncheon, "History and Hopeful Heart" at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17, at Peppercorn Banquets at Ludlow Mansion, 1417 Mansion Drive, Monroe.

Matt Figi will talk about Historic Green County. Lori Boruff of Aledo, Ill., will talk about "Hope in the Ruins."
