LENA — St. John’s Church, 625 Country Lane Drive, recently announced the ability for those who can’t make it to church to either hear or watch the services through the internet.

St. John’s has begun offering a new service that is available to anyone with a computer and internet access.

Using livestream technology, the Sunday morning worship services are broadcast live on the internet at 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. It is a simple and easy process to view the broadcasts. First, visit the church website, www.stjohnslena.org.

On the left side of the page you will see a highlighted banner “click here to livestream.” Depending on the internet speed it may take several seconds to begin. There are also worship folders available for download with the complete service, including hymns, on the “church news” page in the upper left corner of the website.

The website also offers past services under the heading “recording services.” These are available to view any time, day or night.

In person worship is at 5:30 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on Sundays. Sunday school and Bible classes are at 9:15 a.m. and 10:15 a.m.
