MONROE - St. John's United Church of Christ will hold an ice cream social from 4:30 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 31, in Fellowship Hall of the church, 1724 14th St., Monroe.
The menu includes barbecue sandwiches, hot dogs, potato salad, potato chips, cheese, beverages, pies and desserts. Cost is $6 adults; $4 children ages 4-10; and children under age 4 eat free. Carry outs available.
A special feature of the evening is a performance by the Green County Harmony Chorus from 6 to 6:30 p.m.
