MONROE — The holidays are an especially challenging time of year for those grieving the loss of a loved one. Learn how to cope during the holiday season with help from our caring hospice team. Event topics will include common holiday concerns, depression as a part of grieving, practical strategies for handling the holidays, the role of spiritual comfort, and ways to remember a loved one.
SSM Health at Home (previously Monroe Clinic Hospice) will be holding Handling the Holidays on Saturday, Nov. 6, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the SSM Health Monroe Hospital (Café Rooms 1, 2 &3) located at 515 22nd Avenue in Monroe.
This group is open to adults who have experienced a loss. Seating is limited and registration is requested. There is no charge to attend and refreshments will be served.
