Green County Fair Board

The Green County Fair Board can plan a fair, but it takes community involvement to make to happen. Is your business or group looking for a way to expand on your community involvement? How would you like to become a Green County Fair sponsor? Even with today's economy, the Green County Fair Board strives to give local residents the most meaningful fun-type experiences, with less driving distance and more savings.

Becoming a fair sponsor offers you local exposure for your advertising dollar. On average, 40,000 people attend the Green County Fair each year. These are area residents who do pay attention when they see local businesses supporting the youth and residents of Green County and they will remember you the next time they need to buy.

The sponsorship program offers several investment levels, with varying benefits. Depending of the your level of investment, the benefits listed here could be yours:

- Your name appearing on the Sponsor Recognition Board. The board is located in the area of the west gate and will be there for all the summer activities held at the fairgrounds.

- Banners listing your name and business logo will be posted at amphitheater events, at the three entrance gates and at other locations on the grounds.

- Your name mentioned in a number of advertising pieces, including the entertainment brochure, radio and TV ads and at amphitheater events.

- Your name and logo listed on the Green County Fair website.

- Season passes, daily passes and preferred seating at grandstand events.

If your business or group is interested in becoming a Green County Fair sponsor, it is not too late for this year's fair. Contact Susan Konopacki, Sponsorship Coordinator, at the Green County Fair Office at (608) 325-9159. A packet will be mailed to you explaining in detail the Green County Fair Sponsorship Program.

Also new for 2011 is the "Friend of the Fair" Sponsorship, open to individuals and organizations, who would like to show their support of the Green County Fair.

Do you have fond memories of past fairs, did you meet your spouse or get your first kiss at the fair, did you win your first big trophy/award at the fair, do you have family members that you know were very active in past fairs that you would like to honor? For a donation of $50, $100, $150 or $200, you will have your name listed on the "Friend of the Fair" honor board, which will be on display all summer at the fairgrounds. Donations can be sent to the Green County Fair Office, P.O. Box 713, Monroe, WI 53566. Be sure to include your name, address, and the name that you would like to see posted on the honor board.

Whether you support the Green County Fair as a business, organization or individual, you are ensuring that the fair will continue to happen in Green County for a long time. Your support is genuinely appreciated.

See you at the 2011 Green County Fair.
