SOUTH WAYNE — The Red Cross Blood Drive was held in South Wayne on April 7 at St. John’s Catholic Church with 32 donors presenting. Out of that, 9 were deferred for various reasons and two of these had planned to do a double. Three other donors gave doubles making the total number of units collected 26. There were also 5 no shows.
Connie Meier reached her 11-gallon mark. There were no first timers.
Donors were: Ronald Bauman, Debra Wolff, Lynn Schultz, Debra Larson, James Meier, Mary Goonan, Michael Magsamen, Sue Gerloff, Marissa Monson, Henry Seffrood, Mary Zimmerman, LaVonne Liphart, Sarah Alexander, Jillene Meier, Pamela Larson, Joshua Lincicum, Harolyn Hastert, Cynthia Lalond, Della Hathaway, Miranda Lomas, Janet Gobeli, Steven Gobeli, Cathy Cernek, Shelia Bredeson, Carol Ruegsegger, Scott Cernek, Monica Koch, Coleen Blackbourn, Steve Bechtolt, Margaret Miller, Rebecca Good and Emily Zarling.
There was no canteen due to COVID, and only one worker, Connie Meier.
The next drive in South Wayne at St. John’s will be June 9.
