SOUTH WAYNE - Seventeen pints of blood were collected from 20 donors at the South Wayne Community Blood Drive at Marty's Village Inn on Friday, March 7.
Robert Hull met his 4-gallon mark. Other donors were Charles Wick, Ila White, Tom Wellnitz, James Stietz, Travis Skattum, Donald Seffrood, James Meier, Connie Meier, Jack Hagen, Eleanor Gille, Carl Gille, Edwin Ernst, Rosann Devoe, Cheryl Dale, Grant Dale, Gary Burns, Jeffrey Blum and Mary Zimmerman.
Donating food for the canteen were Valley View, South Wayne Mart, Christine Stewart and Rosann Markese, Barb Berget and Joyce Paulson, and Connie Meier.
Helpers were Joyce Paulson, Roberta Haldiman and Connie Meier. A Red Cross blood drive will be in South Wayne on Aug. 6.
