MONROE — The Monroe Arts Center will present the Sounds of Summer Outdoor Concert Series.

This free concert series kicks off on Wednesday, June 14 with Rebulu.

Made up of nine musicians, Rebulu’s sound is a deft, tight, soulful blend of Cuban, Puerto Rican, and African diaspora grooves topped with powerful lead and harmony vocals.

Bring a blanket and picnic basket and enjoy great music on Monroe Arts Center’s south terrace. Families can picnic, dance, and visit with friends while listening to a wide variety of music each second and fourth Wednesday evening from June through August at the Monroe Arts Center. All concerts begin at 6:30 p.m. and are free of charge.

Jose’s Authentic Mexican Food Truck will be on-site throughout each concert. Weather permitting and cash only, Jose’s Authentic Mexican Food Truck includes authentic Mexican dishes.

The Monroe Arts Center will also have their own MAC Bar open throughout the evening.
