MONROE - Several area groups are receiving donations from the local Omicron chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa educational sorority this month.
The recipients include Green County Food Pantry, the Monroe school district's Race to Read program, Rock 'n' Readers, School to Home, Parkside Backpack Buddies, Green County Extension Bookworms and F.A.I.T.H. addiction awareness.
One of the main purposes of ADK is to promote educational and charitable projects and activities. ADK also gives scholarships each spring to a Monroe High School senior and a Blackhawk Technical College student.
