MONROE - Monroe Ostestaden Sons of Norway lodge will meet at 6:30 p.m. April 12 at the Union Presbyterian Church.
Monroe native Jamie Larson participated in a Norwegian reality TV show called "Alt for Norge." Larson was chosen from many potential applicants to be one of the cast members for this show that flies Americans with Norwegian backgrounds to Norway where they have a crash course in Norwegian culture and compete against each other in feats of strength, sense of humor, agility, brain power and desire to learn more about their heritage. The one who most meets the criteria wins a tour and special time with relatives in Norway. Larson will relate his experience on and details about the show. Dessert and coffee will be served at 6:30 p.m. with the program to begin at 7 p.m.
