MONROE - Monroe Sons of Norway will meet Oct. 9 at Union Presbyterian church, 2707 5th St. The meeting will be the annual auction run by Chet Johnson as the auctioneer. A light lunch will be served at 6:30 p.m. with the auction starting at 7 p.m. Members can bring their items for the auction to the church from 4 to 6 p.m. Oct. 8 or from 4 to 6 p.m. the day of the auction. The event is open to the public.
