Soldier's story will be focus of luncheon

MONROE - The "Red, White and Blue" Luncheon, sponsored by Stateline Women's Connection and Stonecroft Ministries, is set for 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 18 at Peppercorn Banquets at Ludlow Mansion, 1417 Mansion Drive, Monroe.

The cost is $9 for lunch, tax, tip and program.

Theresa Crystal, Rochelle, Ill., will speak on "To the Army and Beyond, a Soldier's Fight for True Freedom." Crystal enlisted in the U.S. Army at 17 and found freedom and adventure beyond her greatest expectations. She will also sing and play guitar.
