Soil conservation will be topic at garden meeting

DARLINGTON - The Darlington Garden Club will meet at 7 p.m. April 20 in the Community Room of Town Bank in Darlington. Mary Lindell is the hostess.

Judy Swanson has arranged for the speaker to be Mary Collier, who is a soil conservationist with the Natural Resources Conservation Service. Collier will discuss EQIP, the Environmental Quality Incentives Program, and beneficial conservation practices that can help gardeners improve soil.

The meeting is open to the public.
