MONROE - The Green County Genealogy Society meeting will be held at 10 a.m. Sept. 6 in the second floor meeting room of the Monroe Public Library, 925 16th Ave.
The program will be "Naturalization - Beginning of Your U.S. Family Heritage" given by Steve Szabados. The program starts with the history of the naturalization process and a review of the requirements and then discusses where participant's ancestors were naturalized, which is key to finding their documents. Traditional and online sources are reviewed.
