Abraham Lincoln Elementary School students and staff in Monroe have spent the week finding ways to celebrate the holiday. They experienced the Monroe High School Jazz Ensemble, held dress-up days, had a crazy hair day, enjoyed hot chocolate, wrapping paper towers and decorating cookies. They also watched “The Polar Express” and there was a pinata. Students returned after the New Year.
