MONROE — The Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship, Southwest Wisconsin Small Business Development Center, and Green County Development Corporation will host a free Small Business Clinic on Friday, Oct. 11, at Blackhawk Technical College’s Monroe Campus, 210 4th Ave., Monroe.
The event begins at 9 a.m. Entrepreneurs can schedule 30-minute, confidential one-on-one sessions with experts on business startup, financials, marketing, taxes and legal matters. Appointments are available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with Spanish consulting from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Group sessions will be held at 11 a.m., noon, 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., covering topics like business law, taxes and business plans.
Join them for lunch to network with local organizations and learn about entrepreneurship programs, including those for women in rural areas. Nora Roughen-Schmidt from Southwest Wisconsin Small Business Development Center will also be available for free, confidential consulting.
