Karen Hogan and Bea Patterson, both of Monroe, shared information on special programs for area veterans recently for the Green County Retired Educators. 

Patterson is a volunteer/veteran recruiter for the Badger Honor Flight and shared the importance of encouraging veterans to sign up for the program. Hogan shared a Quilt of Valor, given to veterans as appreciation for service, sacrifice and valor.
