WEST POINT, N.Y. - Cadet Griffith B. Williams, Wausau, graduated from the U.S. Military Academy on May 26.
While at West Point, he concentrated on defense and strategic studies with an environmental engineering track. Williams was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army within the Armor branch and will report to Fort Bliss, Texas for his first assignment.
Williams is the son of Griffith K. and Dorathy Williams, Wausau, and the grandson of David and Dorathy Dowden, Albany, the late Don Williams and the late Rhode Williams.
Williams is a 2008 graduate of Wausau West High School.
