CAMP LEATHERNECK, Afghanistan - Lance Cpl. Tasha Frie, a Monroe native and U.S. Marine, deployed to the Helmand province from Camp Lejeune, N.C. on July 9 with Combat Logistics Regiment 2, Regional Command (Southwest), in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

While in Afghanistan, Frie, a vehicle dispatcher, will provide logistical support to forward deployed Marines, U.S. allies and advise the Afghan National Security Forces in developing their own logistical capabilities.
