JUDA — The Class of 1967-We Remember Our Nine Angels Scholarship winners for 2018 are Hailey Kammerer, Dakota Davis and Mariah Riese. 

Each recipient received a $1,000 award. 

The Nine Angels Scholarship was established in 2010 by the surviving Juda classmates of the nine girls who died when a Douglas DC-8 on a training flight at the New Orleans International Airport crashed into the Hilton Hotel where the girls were staying on their senior class trip March 30, 1967. It is designed to be perpetual and is named for the nine girls: Sheila Babler, Sandra Goecks, Linda Hartwig, Joyce Kaderly, Linda Moe, Janice Siedschlag, Nancy Siegenthaler, Nelva Smith and Doreen Williams.
