The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi

BATON ROUGE, Louisiana — Mark Haakenson, Evansville, was recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society. Haakenson was initiated at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Membership is by invitation only and requires nomination and approval by a chapter. Only the top 10% of seniors and 7.5% of juniors are eligible for membership. Graduate students in the top 10% of the number of candidates for graduate degrees may also qualify, as do faculty, professional staff and alumni who have achieved scholarly distinction.


Wheaton College

WHEATON, Illinois — Wheaton College student Aurora Daniels, Juda, was named to the Dean’s List for the Spring 2021 semester.

To earn Dean’s List honors at Wheaton, an undergraduate student must carry 12 or more credit hours and achieve a 3.5 grade point average or higher on the 4.0 scale.
