JUDA - Elliot Klar, son of Tim and Jackie Klar, Juda, has been awarded the Venturing and Scouting Leadership Scholarship at Abilene Christian University, Abilene, Tex. The scholarship is valued at $4,500 per year, for a four-year total of $18,000.
Klar has been awarded the scholarship because ACU believes in the concept of servant leadership and Klar's work in scouting shows he is someone committed to this.

MADISON - Family Dairies USA, Madison, gives out annual scholarships to children of its members with a preference given to those involved in agriculture and related studies.
Casey Peacock, Shullsburg; Daniel Peterson, Monroe; and Mykel Wedig, Darlington, are recipients of $500 scholarships from the Family Dairies USA Scholarship Program.
Peterson will be attending the University of Wisconsin-Platteville this fall, where he plans to major in dairy science as well as minor in agribusiness. He is the son of Mark and Lori Peterson, members of Family Dairies USA since 2002.
