MADISON - Brett Hefty is the recipient of a 2010 Wisconsin State Telecomm-unications Foundation scholarship. The award was presented by TDS Telecommunications Corp. on May 26 during the Monticello High School Awards Banquet.
Hefty, a member of the 2010 Monticello High School graduating class, is one of five Wisconsin seniors receiving $500 scholarships awarded to students attending a state technical college in the fall. In addition, 33 Wisconsin high school students are receiving $1,500 scholarships from WSTF this year.
