WHITEWATER - Nichole Lattin, Browntown, was awarded the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship to help fund an upcoming spring 2014 study abroad program at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
The Gilman International Scholarship is administered by the Institute of International Education. Rep. Benjamin Gilman retired in 2002 after serving in the U.S. House of Representatives for 30 years, including six years chairing the House Foreign Relations Committee.
Lattin is a junior German and math major at UW-Whitewater.
