Schneider elected to bank board

Steve Schneider was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Bank of New Glarus and Sugar River Banks. Schneider is a lifelong resident of Green County and has been a plumber for more than 20 years. He and his wife, Paula, own and operate Schneider Quality Plumbing located in Brodhead.

"We are pleased to add a successful business owner from Green County with prior bank board experience to our existing board of directors," Warren Laube, president and CEO of the Banks, said.

The Bank of New Glarus and Sugar River Banks have been providing financial services to Green County for more than 100 years.

The Bank has five locations in and around Green County located in New Glarus, Brodhead, Juda, and Belleville. The bank employs approximately 50 staff and has over $172 million in assets. Steve Schneider joins current board members: John Ott, Jane Phillipson, Kerwin Steffen, Gregg Erickson, and Chairman Gof Thomson.
