NEW GLARUS - The South Central Library System has a scanning kit that member libraries can borrow on behalf of their patrons to digitize old slides, photographs and negatives.
The New Glarus Public Library has reserved the kit from May 24-30.
Patrons may stop in during regular library hours to use the equipment.
They need to have a thumb drive/flash drive on which to save the digital content.
All staff members will be trained on how to use these devices and will be available to guide patrons through the process.
