BLANCHARDVILLE - A candlelight ski and hike scheduled for Feb. 24 at Yellowstone Lake State Park has been cancelled due to a forecast for rain or freezing rain and poor trail conditions as a result of recent rain and flooding that occurred at the park.
There is one other candlelight snowshoe hike scheduled Feb. 24 at Pattison State Park near Superior. The final candlelight event of the winter at a Wisconsin State Park System property will be a snowshoe hike March 3 at Rib Mountain State Park near Wausau.
People can check for updates for candlelight events by searching the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources website for keyword "candlelight."
