DARLINGTON — The Lafayette County Historical and Genealogy Society (LCHGS) is hosting Santa Claus from 1-7 p.m. on Dec. 7 at the Darlington Depot following the annual holiday parade.

In addition to visiting Santa and the traditional goodie bags, everyone will enjoy the Special Christmas Train added to the model railroad made by Dave Roelli, and free hot cocoa and popcorn provided by the Chamber of Commerce, made and served by LCHGS in the Caboose. The Depot and Caboose are both heated. 

There is a ramp to enter the Depot and the Caboose.  

After visiting the Depot, guests are encouraged to enjoy the lights in the Riverside Trails Campground.
