MONROE - Roy Thomas will be the speaker at the Green County Genealogical Society meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 1 at the Monroe Public Library, 925 16th Ave.
Thomas' presentation, "Locating the Living to Honor the Fallen," will share the methods he has used to locate living descendants of fallen military. Thomas' interest in history goes back to grade school. He's been researching on and off for the past 25 years and got started by writing letters. In the past 15 years, Thomas has gotten into family genealogy.
