'Robin Hood' to show July 19 through July 21

ORANGEVILLE - "The Adventures of Robin Hood" by Michele L. Vacca is set to show Friday, July 19 through Sunday, July 21.

The Mighty Richland Players will hold a dessert show at 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 19; 7:30 p.m. Saturday, July 20; and 2 p.m., Sunday, July 21 at the Masonic Lodge, 203 High St. For ticket information, contact the Monroe Arts Center at 608-325-5700.

Other show times include 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 11 and Friday, July 12 on the Plum River Players stage at Christ Lutheran Church, 600 N. Main St., Stockton. Plum River Playhouse tickets are on sale by contacting the Stockton Banking Center, Stockton, at 815-947-2000.

The Back Street Players will put on shows at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, July 13 and at 2 p.m., Sunday, July 14 at the Township Hall, 111 Monroe St., Hanover. Tickets for the Back Street Players can be purchased by calling 815-244-1014.

Characters like Robin Hood, Little John, Friar Tuck, Will Scarlet, Maid Marion and Sir Guy of Gisborn will be played by local youth. The cast consists of younger people, ages 12 to 16, from Warren, Stockton and Elizabeth.
