ALBANY - The Albany School District, in collaboration with other community organizations and volunteers, will be offering a ride service to Monroe and Brodhead each week. A van will pick up riders at the Riverview Apartments parking lot at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The cost is $2 for each trip, and the school district is working on getting the trips for free if they can get enough volunteer drivers.
The van will travel to Monroe on Tuesdays and Brodhead on Thursdays and return about 10:30 a.m.
Once at the destination, riders can tell the driver which businesses they want to visit.
