MONROE - The Rev. Matthew Ulmen, son of Norbert and Doris Ulmen, Monroe, was ordained an Elder in the Church of the Nazarene on Wednesday, Aug. 6, at the 73rd annual Wisconsin District Assembly in Madison.
Ulmen is a 1982 graduate of Monroe High School, a 1989 graduate of Olivet Nazarene University, and a 2004 graduate of Nazarene theological Seminary. He serves as pastor of Sparta First Church of the Nazarene in Sparta, where he lives with his wife, Tami, and children, Bryan, Amanda and Gennifer.
