MONROE - Monroe Park and Recreation has openings in the seven-week winter dance classes that begin Feb. 13 and run through March 27. The cost is $40 for residents and $50 for non-residents and will be held at the Behring Senior Center. Classes are limited to 12 students.
Those interested may register online or at the Park and Rec temporary office at 1064 5th Ave., Monroe.
Instructor Kathryn Zastrow will be teaching five different classes.
Ballet I is for 3- and 4-year-olds and will be from 5:15 to 5:45 p.m.
Ballet II is for 4- to 6-year-olds and will be from 5:50 to 6:20 p.m.
Ballet III is for 5- to 8-years-old with at least one dance class with Zastrow and will be from 6:25 to 6:55 p.m.
Ballet IV is for ages 7 and up with instructor approval and will be held from 7 to 7:35 p.m.
Pop Class is for ages 7 and up and will be held from 7:40 to 8:10 p.m.
