ALBANY - Landmark Services Cooperative is hosting free educational, beef producer meetings.
There are two locations and dates to choose from, Tuesday, Feb. 23, at the Cardinal Ale House in Columbus and Wednesday, Feb. 24, at the Ludlow Mansion in Monroe.
Both meetings will have two sessions to choose from, the first session being a feedlot meeting starting at 10:30 a.m. and ending at 3:30 p.m. with lunch included.
The second session being a cow/calf meeting starting at 5 p.m. and ending at 8:30 p.m. with dinner included.
Guest speakers include Chad Zehnder, PH.D., Land O' Lakes/ Purina; Dennis Frame, UW-Extension; Chris Lehner, Equity Coop Livestock Sales Association; and Dr. John Rodgers, Pfizer Animal Health.
Topics such as reproduction, profitability, marketing and health care will all be addressed as well as many questions answered.
