MONROE - A "heroes" congratulations ceremony/open house for Hollis Bausman and Zac VanNatta will be held from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Fire Station One, 601 W. 17th St., Monroe.

Bausman was named "Hero of a Lifetime," and VanNatta was named the "Young Good Samaritan."

Officials of the ceremony request that no cards or gifts be submitted.
