Quinn crowned as Miss Wisconsin Teen

MONROE - Alyssa Quinn, 16, Monroe, earned the title of 2009 National American Miss Wisconsin Teen through her successfully scored events. She is the daughter of Amy Quinn-Meier.

Alyssa's activities include a cappella choir, wind ensemble, varsity forensics and tennis.

She will represent the state of Wisconsin while attending the national pageant at Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif., during Thanksgiving week.

National American Miss Pageants are based on inner beauty, as well as poise and presentation. Emphasis is placed on the importance of gaining self-confidence, learning new skills, learning good attitudes about competition, and setting and achieving personal goals.
