MONROE - Big Brothers Big Sisters of Green County will give a presentation at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 13 at Twining Valley Retirement Community, 700 8th Ave.
The presentation is on how those interested can volunteer for Big Brothers Big Sisters to make a difference in the lives of children.
One way to help is to become a Lunch Buddy. Lunch Buddy Bigs are matched one-to-one with a child and visit them at their school once per week and share activities such as eating lunch, reading together or just hanging out.
The pilot program is a collaboration between Parkside Elementary School and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Green County.
Seating is limited. To sign up for the informational meeting, call (608) 329-5999.
