PLATTEVILLE - The Small Business Development Center of Southwest Wisconsin will offer a free introductory workshop for individuals interested in starting their own businesses.
Participants will learn about business plans: why they are important, what is in them, how to write one and why market research is important to your business success.
Resources from local business development organizations will be provided.
The workshop will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. April 10 at the Platteville Job Center, 1370 N. Water St., Platteville. Participants can register by calling the Small Business Development Center at (608) 342-1038.
