Caryl and Herman Plantikow Jr., Monroe, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012.
Herman and Caryl Fuchs were married Aug. 26, 1962 in St. John's UCC by Reverend George Burns.
They have nine children: Tamie Jo (Kenneth) Kreitling, Garland, Texas; Terri (Kerry Segner) Olson, Browntown; Troy (Theresa), Woodruff; Traci, Monroe; Teresa (Duane) Carpenter, Monticello; Todd and Therman, Monroe; Timothy (deceased) and Taryl (Jessica Greenwood).
The couple has 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A family dinner will be held.
