BROWNTOWN - The Friends of Cadiz Springs broke ground recently to start Phase I of their playground installation project. Over the past four years, FOCS held a number of fundraisers, including the February Snowshoe event, Spring Fling-Open Park Day Cook-out in June, and the Fall Fun Run-Trail Run event, to help raise proceeds for new playground equipment. The project became a reality through local public support and a couple of grants received through the state.
