HOLLANDALE — TDS Telecom has announced Zackary Eaton, Pecatonica High School, as the recipient of a scholarship from the Wisconsin State Telecommunications Foundation. 

Eaton was awarded a $1,500 scholarship. He plans to attend University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and major in business. Eaton was chosen based on his academic achievements, dedication to multiple sports and clubs, and desire to succeed through furthering his education. 

Since 1966, the WSTF has given more than $1.5 million to help students further their education. In its 53 years, the foundation has awarded scholarships to nearly 1,300 students.
