BLANCHARDVILLE - The Blanchardville and Lamont United Methodist Churches of the Pecatonica Valley Charge will host the "Coffee, Cookies and Christmas with the Cases" concert, featuring the churches' pastor, Irv Case, and his wife, Kay, at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8 at the Blanchardville Church, 102 W. Church St.
Irv Case served at a number of parishes as a full-time pastor until retirement. Since retiring, he has also served a number of churches, including Shullsburg, Blanchardville and Lamont. Kay Case plays the piano by both ear and sheet music and also plays for the Albany and Brodhead United Methodist churches. The couple are both actively involved with the Family Promise of Green County and are members of the Brodhead United Methodist Church.
A free-will offering will be taken. Coffee, punch and cookies will follow the concert in the church's Fellowship Hall.
