Outdoor painting, drawing workshop for adults June 4

BRODHEAD - "Seasons of the Sugar River - Catching the light in transitions" is a plein air one-day workshop from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 4 in which participants can explore the watershed through sketching, drawing and painting. The location has not yet been determined.

The outdoor workshop will be led by artists Jan Norsetter and Jonathan Wilde, who will share their expertise in capturing the beauty of the Lower Sugar River Watershed.

All works created as a result of this workshop are automatically juried in the "Seasons of the Sugar River - Catching the light in transitions" 2017 juried art show at the Monroe Arts Center.

Participants must bring their own supplies (see the registration form for a list) and a box lunch and must register no later than May 27. Registrants will be notified of the location of the workshop.

The cost is $75 for the general public or $60 for Monroe Arts Center and/or Lower Sugar River Watershed Association members.
