ORANGEVILLE - The ACT Group of Orangeville is sponsoring their first "Home for the Holidays" extravaganza from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22. Donation to the event is $2 and will start at the Orangeville Village Hall located on East Street.
Featured at the hall will be a decorating contest along with craft booths, baked goods, home consultants, and the Orangeville Schools Art Department display.
The decorating contest has four categories: Christmas Trees, Wreaths and Floral, Table Settings, and Collectibles and each category will be awarded three places plus a Best of Show.
The businesses of Orangeville are participating in their own Christmas Decorating Contest and will offer specials for the day. Participating businesses will be marked with a red ribbon. The proceeds will go to support the Orangeville Alert.
