MONROE - The Monroe Noon Optimist Club is sponsoring its annual school supply collection until Aug. 24.

Those interested in donating can drop off items such as school supplies, mittens, socks or hats at banks in Monroe, including Woodford State Bank, Wisconsin Bank and Trust, First National Bank and Trust, Old National Bank, and Associated Bank.

Supplies collected will benefit students in need within the Monroe school district.
