MONROE — Sue Campbell, RN, a Monroe Clinic oncology nurse, received the DAISY Award June 3. Sue been a nurse with Monroe Clinic for 22 years.

Sue was nominated by a recently retired teammate, Patty Syse.

Her nominator said, “Sue saw the need for nurse navigator services and was instrumental in creating and fulfilling this role. She has a presence with patients, pulling them as ease as their treatment is planning. Words used by families to describe Sue are ‘You made me feel heard’, ‘We felt special, as if we were the only ones you were caring for’, and ‘you always go above and beyond’. Because of her advocacy and dedication to doing all she can for her patients, I feel she is an excellent candidate for the DAISY Award!”
