MONROE - A pre-winter citywide garage sale is being planned for Oct. 16 and 17 to include all of Monroe. This sale is intended to promote winter apparel, Halloween costumes, and Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations.
In order to advertise this citywide sale, 50 registrations are needed by Oct. 1 to cover the advertising expenses. If 50 registrations have not been received by Oct. 1, there will not be a pre-winter city-wide garage sale in October. All registrations submitted by Oct. 1 will then be refunded.
Registration forms are already at the courtesy counters of Monroe Pick 'N Save and Piggly Wiggly and at the Monroe Chamber of Commerce and Industry office. Complete the form and drop it off or mail it to the Monroe Chamber of Commerce and Industry, along with the $10 registration fee before Oct. 1.
If a seller only wishes to participate in one of the two days, fill in the registration form accordingly.
