NEW GLARUS — The New Glarus School District continues its commitment to student success by providing all necessary school supplies for every student in grades 4K through 12. This initiative ensures that all students, regardless of financial background, have the tools they need to learn, grow, and thrive in the classroom.

By removing the burden of purchasing supplies, the district is taking deliberate action to eliminate barriers that may hinder student achievement or place additional stress on families. From notebooks and pencils to folders and other classroom essentials, every student enrolled in the New Glarus School District will arrive on the first day of school fully equipped and ready to succeed.

“Every student deserves the opportunity to begin the school year with confidence and the tools they need to reach their full potential,” said Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Thayer. “By providing school supplies for all grade levels, we are demonstrating our belief that success in education should never depend on a family’s financial circumstances. This is one more way we put students first and support our families.”

This initiative reflects the district’s broader commitment to ensuring that all students, from the youngest learners to graduating seniors, have what they need to succeed each and every day.  The New Glarus School District is looking forward to another great year in 2025-2026, Thayer said.
