MONROE - The Next Generation 4-H Club of Juda cleaned up after the Green County Fall Nationals Tractor and Truck Pull Sept. 23.

For the past three years, the 4-H club has cleaned the fairgrounds for the GCFN after the event. Members of the club, along with aunts, uncles, parents and grandparents, worked late into the night Saturday until the grandstand and in-field areas were clean. They returned at 8 a.m. Sunday with some of the same crew along with others to clean up the dance area and to go over the entire fairgrounds, picking up trash.

This year, 18 families represented the cleanup crew with 32 members on Saturday night and 26 members on Sunday morning. The club sorted through every trash barrel on the grounds for cans to recycle, with the remaining trash getting bagged and taken to the dumpsters. The club also returned all the empty barrels to storage.

The clean-up ended with everybody being treated to donuts.
