MONROE - The "News for You" luncheon, sponsored by Stateline Women's Connection and Stonecroft Ministries, is set for 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 17 at Peppercorn Banquets at Ludlow Mansion, 1417 Mansion Drive.
The price is $9 for lunch, tax, tip and program. The luncheon will feature volunteer vacancies, presented by Dawn Meier, the volunteer services coordinator of the Monroe Clinic. She will discuss the variety of opportunities that are available for those who like to be involved.
Sherian Foster, Lodi, will speak on "What's the Good News?" Foster will share the ups and downs of her life and how she discovered the very best news of all.
